Siliguri, 05th March: The central forces conducted a route march across the city including the sensitive areas. Police patrolling is also being conducted in numerous areas ahead of the assembly polls.
On Friday morning, the central forces also guarded the locality of state Tourism Minister Goutam Deb and carried out a route march in College Para.
Besides, police personnel and election officials interacted with the locals and assured them to provide assistance during any difficulty. The residents have been asked to contact the police station in any need.
