Siliguri, 16th August: Legendary Nepali Communist leader was commemorated on his 120th birth anniversary today on behalf of Ratanlal Brahmin Shalig Sarakshan Committee of Siliguri.
On the occasion, Amal Khawas, Khem Sapkota, Kedar Sharma, Bhim Sharma, Suraj Pariyar, Kumar Chhetri and other members of the committee lit lamps and laid wreaths to the leader’s monument situated at Darjeeling More.
Amal Khawas stated that the programme was organized following all protocols and maintaining social distance in view of the COVID pandemic.
