Alipurduar, 09th December: A leopard was found caged in the Mathura Tea Estate in Alipurduar early on Monday morning.
According to reports, the leopard was trapped in a cage set up by the forest department in the Mathura Tea Estate, located in the Alipurduar Block No. 01. Local residents noticed the caged animal and immediately informed the forest department.
Upon receiving the news, forest officials quickly reached the site and rescued the trapped leopard. The animal was safely taken away for a routine medical examination.
