Bollywood star Irrfan Khan passed away at the age of 54. The actor was admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital on Tuesday, where he was undergoing treatment for colon infection.
His mother, Saeeda Begum, died four days ago on April 25 at the age of 95.
Irrfan Khan in March 2018 revealed that he has been diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumor, a rare form of cancer that can target various parts of the body.
The actor had spent several months last year in the United Kingdom undergoing cancer treatment.
