Siliguri, 08th April: The residents of Siliguri Ward No. 1 Panchanan Colony area are allegedly deprived of free ration amid the ongoing lockdown. The locals stated that despite reporting the matter to the Ward Councilor several times, no settlement was provided.
In this regard, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) No. 1 Mandal Committee General Secretary and social worker Ravi Roy handed over ration to 60 poor families of the said area recently. He then distributed rice and vegetables among 100 poor families of the same area on Wednesday.
