Siliguri, 11th February: The Siliguri Organizational District BJP launched a campaign in support of the National Register of Citizens (NRC) and Citizenship (Amendment) Act 2019 (CAA) in Siliguri’s Bidhan Market by distributing leaflets among the traders. Such an initiative has been taken to raise awareness among the common people regarding NRC and CAA and also to explain the benefits of the laws. Banty Agarwal and Mona Dey were present during the campaign.
Addressing the media, a BJP member stated that they will carry out such activities for an indefinite period.
