Siliguri, 10th February: The COVID-19 pandemic has affected the tourism industry in North Bengal to a large extent. Hence, various initiatives are being taken to normalize the scenario.
In this regard, State Tourism Minister Goutam Deb and Raj Basu, Founder of Help Tourism and Advisor, held a press conference at the Mainak Tourist Lodge on Wednesday.
Raj Basu said that ‘Bird Watching’ will be launched at Gajoldoba soon. 300 boatmen will be provided with training in this regard.
