Naxalbari, 18 September: On Monday, a grand procession was carried out by the Bidhubhushan Primary School Naxalbari to commemorate its Golden Jubilee year. The procession commenced at the school premises and ended at the Naxalbari bus stand. Following this, the national flag was hoisted and cultural programs, including a tree plantation program, were held.
As per reports, the event was graced by Arun Ghosh, the Chairman of Siliguri Mahakuma Parishad, Dilip Kumar Roy, the Chairman of Siliguri Primary Education Parliament, and other dignitaries.
Speaking at the occasion, the Chairman revealed about the popularity and reputation of the primary school in Naxalbari. He added that the teachers are engaged in their efforts for the development of the school. Furthermore, he stated that the school has certain issues which will be resolved.
Sanjay Ghosh, the acting Principal of the school stated that various programs have been organized to celebrate the golden jubilee year of the school.
