Siliguri, 10th September: The Bhaktinagar police raided an illegal call centre and arrested four people including two women. The arrested accused have been identified as Rajib Pradhan from Sonada, Vijay Upadhyay from Champasari, Rebika Pariyar from Jyoti Nagar, and Suman Thapa from Salugara.
According to police sources, a company named OV International was situated on the first floor of a private hotel in Sevoke Road. After investigating, police found out that the said company did not have any license and registration number. Following this, computers, SIM cards, and other materials were recovered from the office.
The arrested individuals were produced in Jalpaiguri court today. Police have started an investigation into the whole incident.
