Siliguri, 20th December: Beautification work has commenced in an abandoned government ground in Block D of Ward No. 33 under the initiative of Siliguri Municipal Corporation. However, some local anti-social activists destroyed the fencing work at night.
Asim Saha, the co-ordinator of the area, strongly condemned the incident and approached the administration in this concern. He said that SMC is determined to conduct the beautification work. Hence, no single person will be able to halt the work.
