Amit Shah in Bengal: Shah attends cultural event at Viswa-Bharati University

On the second day of Amit Shah’s visit to West Bengal, he attended several programmes. This morning, Union Home Minister Amit Shah left for Kolkata Airport from Newtown. He reached Viswa-Bharati University and laid a wreath at the portrait of Rabindranath Tagore in Rabindra Bhawan. He then participated in cultural programmes at Sangeet Bhavan.


             

From there, he reached Bangladesh Bhavan. This will be followed by lunch at a Bengali folk singer’s house. Next, Shah is expected to carry out a roadshow in the city which will be followed by a press conference. The roadshow will commence from Birbhum Dak Bungalow and conclude at Bolpur Chowrasta.
