Cooch Behar, 24th April: TMC National General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee will be arriving in Cooch Behar for a three-day visit, this evening, ahead of the Panchayat elections. The preparations for his visit are in full swing, with assembly stage work underway in Sahebganj, Gosanimari, and Sitalkuchi, and tents arranged at Tufanganj, Dinhata, and Mathabhanga, where he will spend the night.
The TMC leader will land at the Cooch Behar ABN Seal College ground helipad and then head directly to the Madan Mohan Temple to offer his prayers before departing for Dinhata.
During his three-day stay in Cooch Behar, Banerjee has several public meetings and party programs scheduled in various locations throughout the district. He will be in Cooch Behar until April 26. The visit is part of his campaign efforts ahead of the Panchayat elections, and his presence is expected to boost the morale of the party workers and supporters.
