Siliguri, 07th December: A 50-year old BJP worker has lost his life today during BJP’s Uttarkanya campaign. The deceased has been identified as Ulen Roy, a resident of Gajoldoba.
Reportedly, Roy was present in the rally which commenced from Fulbari.
BJP state president Dilip Ghosh and other leaders, including Sayantan Basu, expressed outrage over the role of police and the state government for the unfortunate incident.
