Siliguri, 07th January: Around 400 families of the Baghajatin Colony of Ward No. 2 under Siliguri Municipal Corporation are facing drinking water problems. In such a situation, the people are now dependent on the tap water provided by the Municipal Corporation where they have to stand in line for hours. Meanwhile, some people have to fetch water from other areas as well. It has been alleged that many top officials were informed about the situation but to no avail. The situation has worsened for the people in the last two months.
In this context, the Councillor and the Borough-I Chairman Snigdha Hazra stated that the problem will be resolved soon.
