Siliguri, 11th September: A distressing incident surfaced where a 19-year-old committed suicide by hanging herself in her house located in the Thiknikata area of Sushruta Nagar adjacent to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). The deceased has been identified as Sneha Saha (19), daughter of Swapan Saha.
According to the father of the deceased, Swapan Saha, Sneha had been in a two-year relationship with a young man named Rohit Saha, who resides in the Rathkhola neighborhood. Unfortunately, their relationship came to an end a few days ago, leaving Sneha deeply distraught. Tragically, following this emotional turmoil, her lifeless body was found hanging from a noose in her room.
The family has held Sneha’s lover responsible for the death and filed a written complaint against Rohit at the Medical Police Outpost. Currently, police are engaged in a detailed investigation of the entire incident.
