Jalpaiguri, 16th July: A 16-foot long King Cobra was rescued from a chicken farm in the Natunpara area of Lataguri, on Thursday night.
It has been learned that the King Cobra entered the chicken farm at Amal Barman’s house. The incident was reported to the Forest Department. Upon receiving the news, the members of the environmental organization and forest workers reached the spot and rescued the reptile after an hour’s effort. Meanwhile, several people in the area gathered to catch a glimpse of the cobra.
