A woman has been accused of extorting money from the multiple men that she has married so far. The incident took place in Paschim Vihar of New Delhi and the woman in question is a teacher by profession.
As per sources, the woman used to marry men who were less educated than her and used to extort money by threatening them of filing false cases. One of the victims named Balvindar Singh, who is a truck driver, suspected the woman to be a fraud. He collected evidences against her by himself and then filed a complaint against her.
Sources share that Balvindar is the fourth husband of the accused. He has alleged that the woman demanded Rs. 10 lakhs by threatening him of divorce. The accused has three children from past marriages. She had filed a case of harassment for dowry against one of her husbands, due to which the man had been jailed and is mentally ill now.
The Metropolitan Magistrate of Rohini, Neha Gupta Singh, has instructed the police to lodge a complaint against the accused woman now and to start a probe in the case. The court has ordered the woman’s arrest and has also asked for her to be interrogated to find the other people who are involved in the racket.
