What did the Prime Minister address to the public in the public meeting held in Siliguri?

Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a public meeting in Siliguri. Around 1.15 pm, the Prime Minister reached the venue and placed his statements on the forum.


Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister said that he could not work in this state at the pace that he has worked in other states. The poor have not been progressing here. Prime Minister Modi also spoke about the chitfund.

He alleged that the use of some central projects were put on a standstill by the state.
Modi said that the politics played by the Congress and Left Front have kept Bengal as a poor state still, but in spite of this, services like gas, electricity etc. are being given to the villagers.


At the same time, Modi quoted about the election manifesto of the Congress, and said that this manifesto has reduced the morale of the army. They are trying to tie up the hands of the army.

He said that during the UPA government, there were frequent terror attacks but the army was not free to retaliate. He also said that rumors are being spread about NRC.

Today the Prime Minister also requested the people to vote in the favor of their candidates at the Lok Sabha elections.
