Two trucks collide in Bagdogra

Sensation prevailed in Bagdogra when two trucks collided near Muni Tea Garden.

According to sources, a truck, filled with fruits, was travelling from Delhi to Regulated Market, Siliguri early morning on Saturday. The truck collided with another truck travelling towards the opposite direction. One of the trucks caught fire. However, no casualties were reported.


The Bagdogra Police and the Matigara Fire Department reached the spot as soon as they received the information about the incident. The Firefighters reached the spot and controlled the situation. The driver of the truck, Amit Modi, mentioned that assets worth 8 lakhs were burned during this incident.
