Two Corpses Fished Out Of Pond In Karandighi

Two corpses were fished out of a pond in the Panchloha Village of the Chetrabari locality of Karandighi. The deceased have been identified as Mumtaz Begum, a 45 years old homemaker and her niece, Farida Khatoon.

The corpses were first noticed by the locals of the area. They notified the Karandighi police, who arrived to fish the bodies out of the water.

No postmortem has been ordered for the two females since prima facie states that the duo drowned. However, the people of the area are puzzled as to how Mumtaz Begum could drown, since she used to bathe in the pond frequently.
