The Trinamool Congress has bagged all the seats in the high madarsa election of Bhatingram in the Durlabhpur Zone of Itahar.
Even though the CPI(M) and the Congress had an advantage due to their coalition, neither of the parties could manage to land a seat in the elections. The elections concluded at the college yesterday.
Strict security arrangements had been made in light of the elections. Itahar’s MLA and the district President of TMC stated that they have the parents’ support to work towards the development of the high madarsa bhawan.
“There has been many changes in Bengal. The people do not want more changes; which is why the coalition will not be beneficial for anyone,” said TMC’s district President and Itahar MLA.
