The state of the medical system will change in North Bengal in a few years: Chandrima Bhattacharya

Siliguri, 22nd September (Sanjay Malakar): Minister-of-State, Health & Family Welfare Department Chandrima Bhattacharya in the first project-based conference of North Bengal branch of Trinamool Congress approved Anganwadi and Ashawakari Welfare Association stated that despite several efforts by the state government to clean up the medical colleges and hospitals of North Bengal, development in the medical system is still showing many flaws. The Minister assured to completely eradicate the problems being faced in North Bengal in the coming few years.
Today, the said conference was organized in North Bengal Marwari Bhawan on Sevoke Road, besides Chandrima Bhattacharya, Dr. Shashi Panja, the Minister for Women and Child Welfare and State Tourism Minister Goutam Deb were present. In the conference, Bhattacharya said that the state government has started efforts to improve the medical system. However, there is a shortage of doctors, and to meet this demand, four medical colleges have been set up in the state.
