Team India dedicates ‘Ranchi ODI’ to Indian Army

All the players of the Indian cricket team have dedicated to the Indian Army, the third ODI (Ranchi ODI) against Australia, by including a camouflaged cap on their heads instead of their patent blue caps under their dress code.

In this match, all the members of the Indian cricket team have to play in the field by donning a camouflaged cap. This cap is used by Indian Army jawans.

This information was given shortly before the match by the BCCI on its official Twitter handle through a tweet. It was written in the BCCI tweet that “Team India has decided to wear camouflage caps to pay homage to the soldiers who were killed in the Pulwama terror attack and to show respect for India’s armed forces.”

This initiative has also been taken to encourage the country’s citizens to donate to the National Defense Fund, which will take care of the education of the children of the martyrs.

‘Jai Hind!’
