State Govt. To Erect New Bus Stands In Kalimpong & Mirik

Determined to develop the hills, the state government has decided to erect a new bus stand in Kalimpong as well as in Mirik. The news was confirmed by the Transport Minister of the state, Suvendu Adhikari, in Kolkata today.

According to sources, a budget of Rs. 5 crores has been sanctioned for the bus stand that will be constructed in Mirik. Moreover, five special buses are also being brought to ply in the hills.

It has also been reported that smart cards will be issued for the convenience of the students; which can be used to avail the services of the public bus.
