State Chief Minister to visit North Bengal on a 5-day trip

Siliguri, 20th October: State Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will visit North Bengal on October 21 for a 5-day tour. It was reported that the Minister will head straight to the Siliguri Police Commissionerate after reaching Bagdogra Airport tomorrow afternoon to attend the 'Vijaya Sammelan' programme organized on behalf of the police.
Later, on October 22, the Chief Minister will hold an administrative meeting with Alipurduar, Coochbehar and Jalpaiguri District administrative department. After the meeting, she will also visit Kurseong. Besides, she will also hold a meeting with the Darjeeling and Kalimpong District administration on the 23rd and will return to Kolkata on the 25th.
Reportedly, the Chief Minister is visiting North Bengal after more than six months, due to which the entire hill along with Siliguri has been decorated for her welcome. Banners have also been put up in various places in the city.
