SSB Rescues 11 Nepalese Minors In Mangalore

11 minor boys were rescued by the 41st battalion of SSB from Mangalore. The minors hail from the country of Nepal.

Sources said that the minors’ age fall between 17-18 years. They were working as manual labourers and domestic workers in the city of Mangalore, Karnataka.

A joint operation was run by a voluntary organisation and the Karnataka Police against child labour. The 11 minors were rescued through the operation and were brought to SSB’s Camp in Panitanki.

According to a SSB official, the minors were handed over to the Nepal Police on Thursday.
