The Netaji GSFP School of Siliguri is celebrating Children’s Day in a unique way today. The school started the day off by paying a tribute to the first Prime Minister of independent India, Jawaharlal Nehru.
The students then took the teachers’ place and vice-versa. The 550 girls who study in the school taught their teachers about the Hindi alphabets, rhymes and numbers.
The school’s Headmaster, Ranjan Shill Sharma, said that the children got to celebrate the day in a unique manner and that they made good use of the fun opportunity that they were given.
