The Bhartiya Janata Party had recently divided its organization into four zones in the state. The Union and state leaders of BJP had arrived in Siliguri today to hold a meeting with the officials of North Bengal Zone which is one of the four zones.
The aim of the visit of the leaders is to strengthen the party for the upcoming Panchayat elections. BJP’s state Supervisor cum union Minister Kailash Vijaywargiya, leader Mukul Roy, BJP’s state President Dilip Ghosh and the officials of North Bengal Zone attended the meeting.
Dilip Ghosh shared that the committees have been formed at booth level in almost every region. The Booth Committee has not been formed in Coochbehar yet because of clashes in some areas.
