Sick Pregnant Woman Rescued In Siliguri By Human Rights & Crime Control Org.

The World Human Rights & Crime Control Organization rescued a gravely sick, pregnant woman from the Tenzin Norgay Bus Stand of Siliguri and got her admitted at the Siliguri Hospital; where she is currently undergoing treatment.

Reports read that the woman has been identified as Tumpa Bhattacharjee and she had been wandering around in the bus stand area from the last few days. It has been found that she had come to the city from Sodhpur in South Bengal.


The woman seemed to hail from a well-off family, but was a little mentally unstable. The State President of the Human Rights & Crime Control Organization, Mukesh Devsaria and State Woman Cell's President, Barkha Vishwakarma were also present there when the organization's members got the woman admitted at the hospital. The police has been notified about the incident.
