Seven People Injured While Returning From Jalsa In Malda

Seven people were injured in a road accident while they were returning home from a jalsa, i.e. a gathering, on national highway 34 in Dariyapur of Kaliachak, Malda.

Sources shared that on Wednesday, the group was returning from Kaliachak by an e-rickshaw when a truck collided with them and left the seven people injured.

The group was admitted to a health center nearby, but three of then were later referred to the Malda Medical College and Hospital as their condition deteriorated.

The three have been recognized as Afrajul Haq (52), Islam Sheikh (45) and Kamrud Jamal (22), who are the residents of Dariyapur.
At present, the truck has been seized by the Kaliachak Police.
