Rhino’s Carcass Recovered From Gorumara National Park

The carcass of a male rhinoceros was recovered from the Dhupjhora Beat of Gorumara National Park.


As per sources, the carcass of the rhino showed that he was still a few years away from adulthood. Moreover, wounds were spotted on his horn.

The rhino died after a fight with another rhino is what the prima facie states. However, the forest department's officials are investigating whether some poachers are involved in the case.


The forest officials said that the cause of the rhino's death will be determined after the post-mortem report is received.
