Rescue Mission for tourists drowned in Teesta River

A rescue mission is underway for the tourists, who were involved in an accident and were drowned in the Teesta River, yesterday. The initiative was taken by the N.D.R.F. The N.D.R.F. team faced a tough situation because of the landslide and the continuous rainfall on Thursday morning but they later, entered into the river using a speed boat.

Sources say the Innova car, filled with tourists, was travelling through the coronation bridge, when suddenly; the car lost its control and fell into the Teesta River. A search was made for the drowned tourists and the car, yesterday, but no traces were found.
