Poor people will not vote for Rath Yatra - North Bengal Development Minister

A meeting was held on Wednesday in the Utsav auditorium hall of Cooch Behar in view of the electricity bill. Following the meeting, the North Bengal Development Minister of the state and Cooch Behar district Trinamool Congress President Ravindranath Ghosh took a dig at Amit Shah's Rath Yatra to be held on December 7.

He said that if someone wants to visit Cooch Behar, then this is not our headache. He also said that no one has ever rid a chariot other than Thakur Madan Mohan in Cooch Behar and no one will ever ride one either. If the BJP leaders want to climb a bullock cart or any other vehicle and consider it as a chariot, then they can believe it. He said that the poor people will not vote by watching this chariot.
