Onions to be available in Ration shops: Jyotipriya Mallick

Siliguri, 8th December: Amid soaring prices across India, West Bengal Minister for Food and Supplies Jyotipriya Mallick announced that onions will now be available at ration shops. The Minister held a press conference at the Uttarkanya.
It was reported that the Minister held a discussion with the officials of 7 districts in the administrative building of Uttarkanya regarding various problems being faced by the common people.
Addressing the media later, the Minister said that from now on, onions will be provided at the ration shops in West Bengal. He further stated that the decision was taken to solve the problems regarding price inflation. The Minister further said that a trial run of this project will be made in Kolkata. After examining if the project will be successful, it will be implemented across Bengal.
