One Arrested With Rs. 93,000 Of Fake Currency In Birpara

One man was arrested with Rs. 93,000 of fake currency notes in his possession from the Birpara Chowpathi area during the time the Falakata SSB and the Jaigaon SSB was executing a joint operation there.

The name of the arrested man has been stated as Krishna Dutt. He is a resident of Binnaguri and was carrying the duplicate notes of Rs. 500, 100 and 50 which amounted to a total value of Rs. 93, 000.

SSB official Sanjeev Kishore stated that Krishna was stopped in the Birpara Chowpathi area on Monday evening after he was followed by the SSB soldiers for a long time.

Krishna was turned over to the custody of the Birpara Police and will be presented at the court today.
