A man has been arrested by the police for illegally possessing alcohol in a bus that was heading from Siliguri towards Bihar near the Bengal-Bihar border.
The accused has been recognized as Ashok Singh. Galgalia Police Station’s In-Charge, Mohd. Sajjad Hussain, shared that the police stopped the bus for conducting a check and arrested the smuggler.
As per sources, the alcohol smugglers are being arrested frequently from the buses that run from Siliguri to Bihar.
