Nigeria’s fish festival will be the attraction of Kali Puja of Tarun Sangha

Siliguri, 19th October: The 65th Kalipuja of Tarun Sangh located at Ashrampara in Siliguri will have the “Fish Festival” of Nigeria as its special attraction, this year.


On behalf of the club, Nantu Pal stated that the budget for Puja, this year, is around Rs 45 lakh. Also, special arrangements have been made for the lighting in the puja pandal, this year.

Artists of Durgapur are sculpting the idol and pandals are being constructed by the artists of Kanthi. The puja will commence on the 26th of October and the statue will be immersed with cultural programs on the 30th of October.
After the Kali Puja, various sports competitions, the sterilization of stray dogs, and eye screening camp will be arranged.
