NBU: SFI staged a demonstration to take on various problems

Siliguri, 11 September (Bappa Ghosh): On Wednesday, the CPI(M) student wing Student Federation of India (SFI) staged a sit-in protest in front of the university's administrative building against various irregularities at North Bengal University.

The organization alleged the NBU of not focusing on missions like Swachh Bharat and Nirmal Bangla. The university does not have any sanitary pad vending machine and the toilets are unclean due to which the students are facing many difficulties. Unlike the other departments, the Law Department of NBU does not have any re-evaluation facility. The SFI also alleged that the food served in the canteen of the university is also not edible.

In this regard, a student of Law College said that even after repeatedly giving information to the concerned department about the problems, there was no solution.
