Martyr Subhash Thapa laid to rest with full state honors

Siliguri, 14th October: The last rites of the martyred soldier Subhash Thapa was held, today, in the Bengdubi Army Cantonment with state honors.

It was reported that Subhash Thapa, a resident of Bagdogra, was martyred during a ceasefire violation by Pakistan in the Nowshera sector of the Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.

On Sunday, the body of the martyr was brought to his house, where hundreds of people paid tribute to him with moist eyes. The martyr's body was kept in the army cantonment, last night. The body was brought home, this morning, and then taken back to the army cantonment. A large crowd was seen at the funeral of the martyr.
