Man charged for murdering for one hundred and fifty rupees

An accusation has risen for killing one person for one hundred and fifty rupees. The incident took place in the area of Dalsingpara tea estate of Jaigaon police station. The name of the deceased has been described as Milan Gwala.

In the details of the incident, it is known that last night, Milan Gwala had sold his neighbour Birju Rajgor’s bicycle without informing him for one hundred and fifty rupees. Miffed by this, Birju wrapped a stone in a towel and hit the head and the other parts of the body, causing him to be seriously injured.

The deceased’s wife told that when she saw her husband lying in a pool of blood, she told Birju to take him for treatment, but he did not go. He died after being in a critical condition all night.

After getting information about the incident, the police reached the spot and recovered the body and sent it to Alipurduar for post-mortem. At the same time, the accused is absconding since the incident.
