Landslides wrecks havoc in hills

Landslides seem to be unstoppable as continuous rainfall has been greeting the Hills since the last two days. Continuous landslides have been reported since the last few days.

A landslide occurred in the 14th mile under National Highway 55 which led to the destruction of a house, which belonged to Nawraj Pradhan. Although no injuries were reported, the local people are worried a major accident might occur in the area.

Meanwhile, the rise in water level in the Tindhure River in Ratomate, Sonada has given rise to a flood due to which a house, which belonged to Purna Bahadur Ghising, has been completely destroyed.
