Condemning the incident of Islampur's Dwarwita, protest was held on Sunday by the Darjeeling District Committee of Janata Dal United, Siliguri on Air view Turning More.
Protests were held under the leadership of District President Bhushan Kumar Soni of the organization. Darjeeling District President of Janata Dal United, Bhushan Kumar Soni said that today on behalf of the organisation we have protested in the demand of severe punishment for the accused persons involved in the incident of Darvita High School.
He said that through the protests, a demand is being made for an investigation by constituting a high-level committee of judges from Bihar, Bengal and Orissa states. It is known that in the incident of Dwarvita High School of Islampur, two students named Rajesh Sarkar and Tapas Burman were killed.
