India lock horns with Bangladesh in 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers

With 1 point out of their 2 matches played, India will look to defeat Bangladesh in the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, today, to revive their hopes of qualifying for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

After losing 2-1 to Oman in their first qualifying match, India put a very impressive performance to hold Qatar to a 0-0 draw in their second qualifying match, even though the Indian captain, Sunil Chhetri, didn’t make an appearance in the match due to fever.

Sunil Chhetri is set to return in the Group E match against Bangladesh. Jeje Lalpekhlua has also made himself available after recuperating from his injury. With Chhetri and Lalpekhlua, two of the finest strikers in India, both available for selection, Igor Stimac will want to take the three points against Bangladesh in the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
