Malbazar, 11th September: 46th Battalion of Chalasa Range and SSB conducted a joint operation and recovered illegal wood worth lakhs of rupees from a house located in Mathachulka Dangapara area under Bidhannagar Gram Panchayat
Based on a tip-off, ARO Pranab Das, Khariad Vandar Beat Officer Dilip Roy, SSB jawans and forest personnel led by Chalsa Range beat officer Manwar Hussain carried out the operation and recovered illegal logs of wood worth lakhs of rupees. No arrest has been made yet.
