Gorkha regiment Jawan killed in militant attack Jeevan Gurung's body bought to native village


The mortal remains of the Gorkha Regiment Jawan Rifle Men, Jeevan Gurung who was killed in a terrorist attack on Friday in Noshera sector of Jammu and Kashmir reached the native village of Lamahatta in Darjeeling district on Sunday.

According to information received from the army, the body of martyred Rifle Man reached the Bagdogra airport from Delhi in the evening at around 4 pm, from where the body of Jeevan Gurung was bought in an army vehicle to his native village, Lamahatta.

He cremated with military honors. It is known that Rifle Man Jeevan Gurung was martyred while protecting the country at the mere age of 24 years and eight months.
