Fire in Congress’s booth in Chopra

Tension spread after allegations rose of setting a Congress’s booth on fire in Chopra’s Daspara area.

According to sources, on Tuesday night, the Congress booth located in Chopra’s Daspara area was set on fire by someone or some people, which ended in half the office burning down.

It is alleged that the party posters present in the office have also been torn down.

In retaliation to this incident, Congress workers blocked the National Highway this morning and protested. The police reached the scene as soon as the incident was reported and the protest was lifted after the police gave them assurances. The incident is being investigated.
