Elephant couple spotted in Bagdogra’s Bengdubi

Two elephants were seen straying along the way of Bengdubi adjacent to Bagdogra. Attempts were made to send the elephants to the forest by playing sirens from the vehicles.

According to the information received, two elephants were seen on the side of the road around 4 pm, in Bangdubi. Later, an attempt was made to send them to the jungle with the help of sirens from these vehicles.

At the same time, TT Bhutia of Bagdogra Forest told that the elephants reside in the said forest. They were sent back to the forest instead of venturing out to the road.
