Election workers submit memorandum to Magistrate in demand of security

In a demand for deploying sufficient number of Central Corps in the Lok Sabha elections on Wednesday, election workers have handed over a memorandum to Islampur Mahkama Election Officer and Magistrate.

election workers are demanding that central corps should be deployed to prevent illegal activities in every booth and to ensure safety of the vote workers.

After taking their training in Islampur High Girls' School on Wednesday, the election workers handed over the memorandum. A total of 68 vote workers signed the memorandum.

In this regard, Magistrate Manish Mishra said that the same memorandum has been sent to higher management on Wednesday, just like on the first day.
