Mangpoo, 21st August: Nepali Bhasa Manyata Diwas was also celebrated in Mangpoo with much zeal and enthusiasm at the Saraswati Higher Secondary School Auditorium. During the program, Dr. Remika Thapa, a prominent writer from Mangpoo, was felicitated for her contribution to Nepali language literature.
Addressing on the occasion, Dr. Remika Thapa expressed her happiness and gratitude towards the people of Mangpoo for honoring her. In the program organized by the Nepali Bhasa Manyata Diwas Committee Mangpoo, writer Uday Thulung said that both political and literary groups have worked together and played a major role in achieving the recognization of Nepali language in the Indian Constitution in the past. Various literary and cultural programs were presented while teachers of various schools and poets and writers of Mangpoo area also presented their works.
