Couple’s decomposed bodies found from Kalchini’s Chuvapara tea garden

Two decomposed bodies were recovered from from the Chuvapara tea garden under Kalchini Police jurisdiction.


According to the information, the workers, who were working in 12 number section of the plantation on Wednesday morning, saw the couple’s dead bodies and informed Kalchini police. The deceased have been identified as Mechpada tea plantation resident of Pradeep Uraon (21) and Chuvapara tea garden resident Anupa Lohara (22).

Pradeep Uraon was missing from 12th June and his family had lodged a missing diary in the Kalchini police station that day. The police has recovered both the bodies. On Thursday, the bodies will be sent for post-mortem.


It is primarily being speculated that the couple was in love and committed suicide. However, only after the post mortem report is released, the exact cause of death will be known.
